We are often asked if we are a franchise, we are not. My wife and I have spent many years honing our wine selection skills and decided to share our selections with the wonderful people of Reno, Nevada. Our second love is cheese, and we have combined our pursuit of great cheeses from around the world with our love of wine to form the basis of our business.
Great Wines
Great wines can come from almost anywhere, but how do you find that one great bottle among so many being produced? We strive to provide the solution at Fine Vines by hand selecting each of our wines after extensive tastings, searching for a great wine at an affordable price point. We also use the expertise of renowned wine publications such as Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, SF Chronicle wine tastings etc. to select wines that are highly rated and bring them into our store.
Taste the Difference
- We always have a few bottle open and some cheeses available for a quick tasting at no charge.
- We do a Cheese and Wine tasting every Thursday and Friday evening starting at 5:00 p.m., and all day Saturday featuring Flights of wine and plates of our gourmet cheeses, crackers, artisan bread and fruit. Chocolate and Ports by the glass are also available.
Great Cheeses, Chocolates, Baskets, Gifts and Gift Cards
- We import cheese from around the world, including cheeses from France, Italy, Holland, Switzerland, England, and Spain as well as great artisan cheeses from small producers here in the U.S.
- We have selected gourmet chocolates from award winning chocolate makers as well as wine and cheese related gifts for that someone special, or special occasion.
- We have beautiful baskets pre made for a quick gift or will work with your selections of Wine, cheese, and gifts to create the perfect one of a kind basket for a special occasion.
